Ask your guests to bring their own lawn chairs and gather &#8217;round for an easy, low impact celebration.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And don&#8217;t forget the chow. Here are a few recipes that will make your garage party shine!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Your Mardi Gras Menu:<\/p>\n<h2>Stuffed Chicken Breasts<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">3 cups chopped fresh spinach leaves<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1\/3 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and chopped<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 teaspoon minced lemon peel; 1 teaspoon basil<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1\/4 teaspoon garlic powder<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1\/4 teaspoon paprika<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 dash black pepper<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1\/2 cup oil-cured olives hot cooked polenta or steamed rice<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">Place chicken breast between two pieces of plastic wrap.\u00a0Pound breast with tenderizer mallet until 1\/4 inch thick.\u00a0Repeat with remaining chicken.\u00a0Combine feta, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, lemon peel, and spices in bowl.\u00a0Lay pounded chicken on table, smooth-side down.\u00a0Place two tablespoons of feta mixture on wide end of the breast.\u00a0Roll tightly. Repeat with remaining chicken.\u00a0Place chicken, seam-side down, in slow cooker.\u00a0Top with diced tomatoes with juice and olives.\u00a0(If pitted olives, add to slow cooker in the last hour of cooking.)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">Cover. Cook 5 1\/2 to 6 hours on low.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">Serve with polenta or rice.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1em;\">Italian Beef<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 packet of Italian dressing mix<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 (15 oz.) can of beef broth<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">3 lb. pot roast<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">Stir together dressing mix and beef broth in a baking dish.\u00a0Add meat and cover.\u00a0Bake at 250 for 5 hours (or in a crock pot on low for 5 hours).\u00a0Serve atop hot noodles or use for sandwiches.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1em;\">Cornbread<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">2 boxes of corn muffin mix<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 box of yellow cake mix<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">Make the recipes as directed on the boxes.\u00a0Mix together. Pour in a 9&#215;13 pan.\u00a0Bake for 30 minutes at 350.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1em;\">Zucchini Chips<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 large zucchini<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 tablespoon olive oil<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 dash sea salt<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">1 dash pepper<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1em;\">2 dashes paprika<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">Cut a zucchini into thin slices.\u00a0Toss in olive oil, salt, and pepper.\u00a0Sprinkle with paprika and bake at 450\u00b0F for 25 to 30 minutes.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">Party Punch<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">1 gallon lemon-lime soda<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">1 gallon Hawaiian Punch (Juicy Fruit Red)<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">1 quart rainbow sherbet<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">Mix soda and punch in large punch bowl. Top with sherbet and serve.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">Chocolate Lasagna<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">1 package Oreo cookies<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">6 tablespoons butter, melted<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">1\/4 cup sugar<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">2 tablespoons milk<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">1 12-ounce tub Cool Whip, divided<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">2 3.9-ounce packages Chocolate Instant Pudding.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">3 1\/4 cups milk<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">1 1\/2 cups mini chocolate chips<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">Crush cookies in food processor or place them in a large ziplock bag and smash them with a rolling pin.\u00a0Transfer the Oreo crumbs to a large bowl.\u00a0Stir in melted butter.\u00a0Place the mixture in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.\u00a0Press the crumbs into the bottom of the pan.\u00a0Put pan in the refrigerator while working on the additional layers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"line-height: 1.25em;\">Mix the cream cheese until light and fluffy.\u00a0Add in sugar and two tablespoons of milk; mix well.\u00a0Stir in 1 1\/4 cups Cool Whip.
