These doors replicate the classic look of wood with a virtually maintenance-free steel exterior and Poly accent battens. 5300/5600 Series Finished Steel Carriage House Collection
Specifications:
- Accent battens are laminated to the steel sections with high performance adhesives. The base sections and accent battens are then pre-finished in white, almond or sandstone before passing through an accelerated curing oven
- Squared or Arched tops available
- Optional windows are available in clear glass, glue chip pattern or seeded glass, available in the top two sections of door
- 7/16” thick Poly pre-finished accent battens bonded to sections utilizing high performance adhesives and vacuum pressure
- Series 5300 are 2” thick CFC free polystyrene insulated base sections
- Series 5600 are 2” thick CFC free polyurethane insulated thermally-broken base sections

- The wide tongue-and-groove cedar boards and smooth cedar accent battens are laminated to the steel base sections with high performance adhesives. The door face is manufactured unfinished for field painting or staining.

- Extra-heavy paint system consists of .25 mil. primer with rust inhibitor and a .75 mil. coating of baked-on polyester paint in your choice of white, almond or sandstone

Door Insulation
These models utilize 25-gauge exterior steel skin with 1-3/8" thick CFC free polystyrene foam insulation with a vinyl back cover. Steel end and intermediate stiles are held firmly in place by a tab-loc system, creating increased strength and rigidity.
